Using .NET Core

LFC Hosting fully supports Microsoft .NET Core 2.

To enable .NET Core you need to configuration an application through the Application Administration tool in your Control Panel, The application must be set to "No Managed Code" and you need to put the following into the application's web.config file:

  <system.webServer>
    <handlers>
      <addname="aspNetCore"path="*"verb="*"modules="AspNetCoreModule"resourceType="Unspecified"/>
    </handlers>
    <aspNetCoreprocessPath="%LAUNCHER_PATH%"arguments="%LAUNCHER_ARGS%"stdoutLogEnabled="false"stdoutLogFile=".\logs\stdout"forwardWindowsAuthToken="false"/>
  </system.webServer>
</configuration>

The %LAUNCHER_PATH% and %LAUNCHER_ARGS% items need to be updated to work with your application. Generally a web.config would be automatically provided by the application you are using or have developed.
